This page describes what the current site code does. It does not cover third-party retention beyond the requests we send.
Page views use Cookie Free Analytics (site id 1f57b9529152). The page loads their script and, on later navigations, sends the hostname, page path, referrer, and a timestamp to cookiefreeanalytics.com. That code does not set an analytics cookie.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights also load. They send visit and performance data to Vercel. The site does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
On the homepage the browser calls ipwho.is. That request uses your IP address to return an approximate location. We use it to center the map and, when you have not chosen an airport, to preselect the nearest airport in our airport list. The page does not ask for GPS permission.
Signing in uses Supabase Auth. A session cookie is stored so you can stay logged in. Google sign-in is optional and only runs if you choose it. Browsing the map does not require an account.
Map tiles load from CARTO. Route, schedule, and live-position data are fetched by our server from:
Schedule times come from AirLabs when a route is requested and the server has an AirLabs key. Aircraft positions are served by our flights API from adsb.fi, with OpenSky only for a worldwide fetch when OpenSky credentials are set.
